business by ordering a "Fast Start Pack" which is approximately US$400 worth of products. Beyond this you
should also consider budgeting another US$20 to US$100 for business cards and promotional materials. So,
that is generally about US$500 plus in total. Please see Getting Started for more information.

What are the ongoing costs?
If you want to remain an "active representative" who is entitled to being paid bonuses, you must order at least "50
Points" of products per month. You choose what you need, whether it be items for personal use, or sample
packets for promotion. An average 50 point order, with your representative discount, is US$60.

Do I need to be good at sales or have previous experience?
A ONE Group business is much more about education and getting information out to the public than it is about
sales. Developing your communication and education skills is much more important than having traditional
sales skills. We, as a company and a team, avoid hype and are not about convincing people to buy our products
or become representatives. Our training and culture encourages new representatives to help empower people
with information such as how to read product labels, how to find manufacturers safety data sheets and how to
make informed decisions about the products they purchase. You do not need previous sales experience, but

Why are some of your products marked "Certified Organic" and others just "Organic"?
Currently, body care products are not required to comply with the stringent organic food standards maintained by
certification bodies such as the BFA and NASAA in Australia and the USDA in the United states, hence the plethora
of so many "organic" body care products now on the market. Miessence® is currently the only skin care product on
the planet that has submitted to, and complies with, the rigorous processing and labelling requirements for
certified organic food products.
Since water is the primary ingredient in many cosmetics, some manufacturers are claiming to use organic
hydrosols, or floral water, to green wash their products and make organic label claims while using the same
synthetic toxic ingredients that would NEVER be allowed in organic food products. We believe this practice has
the potential to destroy the integrity of the organic name.
There are two levels of certification for organic food products that Miessence® skin care products comply with:

ingredients (up to 5%) can be non-agricultural substances or non-organically produced agricultural
ingredients, with strict processing criteria (eg. absolutely no GMOs or synthetics chemicals) - Products branded "Miessence® organics" are either made with organic ingredients or are mineral-based
products. Made with organic ingredients products contain (excluding water and salt) at least 70%
organically produced agricultural ingredients. Any remaining can be non-agricultural substances (eg, clay,
bicarb soda, minerals) or non-organically produced agricultural ingredients, with strict processing criteria
(eg. absolutely no GMOs or synthetics chemicals). Mineral-based products contain non-agricultural
substances (eg, clay, bicarb soda, minerals), with strict processing criteria (eg. absolutely no GMOs or
synthetics chemicals) - Products with the USDA certified organic logo meet the strict ingredients and processing criteria in
accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture's National Organic Program
Why are two of your products only 73% organic?
To be certified organic, 95% of the ingredients must be certified organic. Currently, the "foaming agent" used in the
shampoo and body wash is not and it makes up about 27% of the product.
The "foaming agent" we use is "polyglucose". Coco polyglucose is a "non-ionic surfactant" (foaming agent)
synthesised from coconut and glucose from corn. Polyglucose has excellent dermatological compatibility. It is very
mild on the skin. Based on the Duhring Chamber Test it has the lowest irritation score of all common surfactants
tested. It is free from ethylene oxide, which can cause nitrosamine contamination, and free from preservatives. It
also has a very low environmental impact due to:
It is acceptable for now, however it is still not certified organic. ONE Group will do better. We are working on
replacing it with a certified organic "foaming agent" of similar functionality, but it takes time. Rest assured that as
soon as we have a certified organic replacement that works, we will introduce it.

soon as we have a certified organic replacement that works, we will introduce it.

GMO's*(see definition below). It is an innovative method of farming and production and is increasingly being
recognised as being on the leading edge of food and fibre technology into the future. Organics is not just chemical
free by testing. It is about the way the product ingredients have been grown, prepared, processed and packaged.
Standards to achieve certification are internationally recognised and are assured through annual audits of all
certified operators by an independent third party auditor..
*A genetically modified organism (GMO) is a plant, animal or microorganism whose genetic code has been
altered (subtracted from, or added to either the same species or a different species) in order to give it
characteristics that it does not have naturally. Scientists can now transfer genes between species that otherwise
would be incapable of mating, for example, a goat and a spider. This is what we call trans genesis. Little is known
about the long-term effects of such manipulations on humans, plants, animals and/or the environment. And while
some see GMO's as the way to the future, others believe that scientists have gone too far, tinkering with the
essence of life.
