IT'S YOUR CHOICE - Start by joining as an independent representative, placing a fast-start "home conversion" order and committing to a monthly order. It will cost you US$60 to join as a representative. To get the most out of this opportunity, you should start your business by ordering a "Fast Start Pack" which is approximately US$400 worth of products of your choice. Beyond this you should also consider budgeting another US$20 to US$100 for business cards and promotional materials. So, that is generally about US$500 in total to start your own home business. The fast-start order is optional, but strongly recommended so you can use and familiarize yourself with the products. YOUR STRATEGIES From your business plan I will work with you to establish strategies to help build your business. This might include a MAXIMUM OF THREE of the following options. I help you to choose options that will suit your personality and situation, and those that are most likely to be sustainable overtime. As your business grows, so might your strategies; but it is always good to have a clear guide from which to begin. 1. Word Of Mouth This day and age of fast paced living, word of mouth continues to be one of the most effective marketing techniques around. In our personal lives, if we like something, we will talk positively about it to others; for example, a favourite restaurant or terrific movie. Similarly, in developing a part-time business with miessence®, positive word of mouth generates referrals, and referrals generate business. What could be better than one of your customers mentioning how pleased they were with miessence® to others? Cost: Free advertising. That's what word of mouth is. 2. 100 Newspaper Strategy To further aid the promotional efforts of our Representatives, we have developed the "Organic and Natural Living" newspaper as a valuable tool for educating people about organics, as well as introducing them to the entire ONE Group product range. This strategy involves placing 100 newspapers per month in well-targeted outlets and venues that would then be picked up and read by people passing by. Because there is a space for your contact details on the back, they can then contact you for more information, meaning that all your leads are automatically pre-qualified. Cost: $150 per month in the US 3. Public Talks/Group Meetings These might be held in conjunction with, or supported by, your sponsor as you learn the business and then later with those you have sponsored. Public talks have shown consistent returns for those who organise them. In fact, historically, 20% of people who attend these talks have become Representatives and it is not unusual that a further 30% become Preferred Customers. Cost: Can include Venue Hire, Equipment hire, advertising and maybe basic refreshments on the night. 4. Advertising Advertising mediums could range from your local newspaper and mailbox leaflets, right through to glossy magazines and professional direct mail campaigns. Where and how you choose to advertise will depend on your budget and your target audience. Please remember that whatever advertising medium you choose, it is a requirement that all ads must be approved by ONE Group prior to publication. Cost: Depends on when, where and how frequently you wish to advertise, which can easily range from $10 to $5000 per campaign. 5. Stalls/Expos With prior permission from the ONE Group head office, representatives can participate in festivals, expos and have tables at farmer and other types of markets. In the US, you can sell directly to customers from these venues, but you are reasonable for collecting any sales tax as mandated by specific states and counties. . Cost: Sample products and testers to use. Stalls and expos may have costs for hiring space. 6. Professional E-commerce Websites If you are serious about including an internet strategy as part of your miessence® business, ONE Group is now offering the opportunity for Representatives to subscribe to their own customised version of an official ONE Group website. This website strategy works very well in conjunction with other strategies; like the newspaper strategy and word of mouth. Plus, with this strategy you will enjoy the benefits of:

Your hostess earns a percentage of the total sales of the party, and has the opportunity to receive one of our hostess gifts for free. MiSpa parties allow people to "shop from their seat, not on their feet" in the relaxing atmosphere of someone's home. As a representative, you provide one-on-one consultations to the hostess and her guests in order to find the Miessence products that best suit their needs. The retail strategy is currently being revamped, but is scheduled to be relaunched in early 2008. Representatives must hold the rank of Manager or higher in order to request retail allocations, so if selling to retail stores sounds exciting to you, get going now so you will be a Manager by the time they re-launch this strategy!
